Set on the banks of the river Wharfe, my therapy room has beautiful views of the river and fields beyond. The perfect place to relax and get a different perspective.

Therapy studio in Otley, Leeds, West Yorshire

It is important that you find a therapist who is a ‘good fit’ given that a large part of therapeutic effectiveness is dependent on the relationship.  So here’s a bit about my background to help you decide if I am a ‘good fit’ for you.

My journey began in 1989 with my first degree in Psychology at the University of Liverpool. I then worked in general mental health for the next few.  Following this, I undertook my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2001 at the University of Leeds and worked as a Clinical Psychologist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Leeds after qualifying.  I left my post in 2010 to have my third child and take some time out with my family.  I began private work soon after, building up to 2-3 days as an associate at the Wharfedale Practice in Otley (together with occasional work in the NHS to cover vacant posts).  More recently, I have built a studio in my garden in Otley, West Yorkshire where I can meet with clients.
